Who We Are

The Pre-Dental Society at UVA is a community built for students who are curious about dentistry and want to explore what it has to offer. Whether you're just beginning to explore the field or are already set on dental school, we're here to support you every step of the way. Through academic resources, hands-on experiences, and meaningful events, we help our members build the knowledge, skills, and network they need to succeed. At our core, we believe that the path to dentistry is better when you don't walk it alone.

We cherish the relationships, communication, and passion that drives students in their academic journeys. The Pre-Dental Society at UVA exists to channel that energy into a supportive community where aspiring dental professionals can connect, grow, and thrive together.

We are thrilled for what the 2026-2027 school year has in store for the PDS, but we want you there with us! There will be amazing opportunities to meet like-minded people, learn more about various aspects of dentistry, and create life-long relationships with people you haven’t met!
